Overview
Five unforgettable days exploring the very best of Zanzibar — from the ancient alleys of Stone Town and the turquoise sandbanks of Nakupenda, to swimming with dolphins at Mnemba Atoll, tasting spices at a living farm, and sailing the legendary Safari Blue lagoon. Every trip is fully private, guided, and includes boats, meals, gear, and all entrance fees. Book the complete five-day experience or pick the days that excite you most.
Day 1 — Prison Island · Nakupenda Sandbank · Stone Town City Tour
Start your Zanzibar adventure with a trio of iconic experiences. Board a private boat for Prison Island — home to a population of 150-year-old Aldabra giant tortoises in a colonial prison setting. Sail on to Nakupenda Sandbank, a strip of white sand emerging from turquoise water at low tide — utterly photogenic and surreally beautiful. Return via Stone Town for a guided city walk through the UNESCO heritage labyrinth of Arab palaces, carved wooden doors, Persian bathhouses, and spice markets. A seafood BBQ lunch is served at the sandbank.

Day 2 — Jozani Forest · Salaam Cave · Mtende Beach
Venture into Zanzibar’s green interior. Jozani Forest is the island’s only national park and the last sanctuary of the rare Zanzibar red colobus monkey — one of Africa’s most endangered primates, found nowhere else on earth. Watch them leap through the canopy just metres above your head. Continue to the mysterious Salaam Cave, a natural coral cave system with stalactites and underground pools, then finish the day at the secluded Mtende Beach — one of the island’s least-visited stretches of white sand and clear water.

Day 3 — Mnemba Dolphins · Snorkelling · Kendwa Beach
Take to the water for Zanzibar’s most exhilarating ocean day. Head to the waters off Kizimkazi where resident pods of bottlenose and humpback dolphins gather each morning. Slip into the warm Indian Ocean and swim alongside them in their natural habitat — one of the most joyful wildlife encounters in East Africa. Continue to Mnemba Atoll for world-class snorkelling over pristine coral gardens with sea turtles, reef sharks, and hundreds of fish species. The day ends at Kendwa Beach — one of the island’s finest stretches of white sand, with a seafood lunch served from the boat.

Day 4 — Spice Farm · The Rock Restaurant · Kae Funk Sunset
A day that engages all the senses. Begin at a working spice farm in Zanzibar’s interior — tasting fresh vanilla, smelling cinnamon bark, feeling nutmeg and cloves in their natural state. The island’s centuries-old spice heritage comes alive in a way no museum can replicate. Lunch at The Rock Restaurant — one of the most photographed restaurants in the world, perched on a coral rock in the Indian Ocean, accessible only by boat at high tide. End the day at Kae Funk Private Beach for sundowners as the sky turns gold over the water.

Day 5 — Safari Blue · Sandbank · Blue Lagoon · Snorkelling · Baobab Tree
The grand finale. Safari Blue is widely considered Zanzibar’s most spectacular full-day boat trip — sailing through a turquoise network of mangrove channels, remote sandbanks, and open ocean lagoons in Menai Bay. Anchor at a private sandbank for swimming and snorkelling over the coral reef, then float in the Blue Lagoon — a sheltered natural pool of impossibly clear water. A fresh seafood BBQ lunch is served on the sandbank. The journey ends at a centuries-old Baobab Tree — one of Zanzibar’s most iconic natural landmarks.
