Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival & Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. Safari briefing in the evening.
Day 2 — Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart early for Tarangire National Park — home to massive elephant herds and iconic ancient baobab trees. Afternoon game drive through diverse woodland and open savannah. Overnight at Tarangire safari camp.
Day 3 — Lake Manyara National Park
Morning game drive in Tarangire, then drive to Lake Manyara — famous for tree-climbing lions, enormous flamingo flocks, and lush groundwater forest. Evening at your Lake Manyara lodge.
Day 4 — Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera — a natural amphitheatre sheltering over 25,000 animals including the Big Five. Spend a full day on the crater floor. Overnight at the crater rim.
Days 5 & 6 — Serengeti National Park
Drive across the Ngorongoro highlands into the Serengeti. Two full days of game drives across the endless plains, following the Great Migration. Luxury tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 7 — Serengeti to Arusha & Departure
Final morning game drive in the Serengeti, then transfer back to Arusha. Lunch in town before transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
